Warranty

Thank you for purchasing Auchdas range hoods.

Auchdas Inc. warrants that, subject to the terms and conditions set out in this document, the product supplied by Auchdas Inc. will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will be fit for the purpose under proper installation, normal residential use and recommended care during the applicable warranty period. The term “product” means range hood physical goods or other physical good as sub-component of a range hood.

 

Warranty Period

The warranty period begins on the day of the purchase. The warranty extends only to the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchased from the original purchaser.

1-Year Warranty on parts and labor.

During the warranty period, Auchdas Inc. will repair or replace defective parts with new parts, or at the sole discretion of Auchdas Inc., serviceable used parts that are equivalent or superior to new parts in performance.

If you are outside our service area, additional charges may apply for shipping costs for warranty repair at our designated service locations and/or for the travel cost to have a service technician come to your home to repair, remove or reinstall the Products.

 

Limitations of Remedy

Your sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty shall be product repair or replacement as provided herein. Auchdas inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the product or damages with respect to any economic loss, personal injury, loss of property, loss of revenues or profits, loss of enjoyment or use, cost of removal, installation or other indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any nature or kind.

 

What is Not Covered by This Warranty

This limited warranty covers only repair or replacement, at our discretion, of the defective product or parts and does not cover any other costs associated with the Product, including but not limited to:

• Product purchased from anyone other than Auchdas Inc. or its authorized reseller
• Consumables such as light bulbs, filters, fuses, cleaning material
• Damage or performance deficiency results from installation contrary to recommended installation instructions
• Damage from misuse, abuse or neglect
• Product was used in a commercial setting or in a residential setting with commercial purpose
• Natural wear or surface finishing discolouration of the Product, or wear and discolouration caused by improper maintenance, use of corrosive and abrasive cleaning products, pads.
• Damage from repair or replacement of warranted parts by a service provider other than Auchdas authorized service provider
• Damage to the Products caused by accident, fire, floods or act of God

 

How to Make a Claim

Any claim under our warranty must be notified to us by email noted below within 14 days after purchasing date.

Please include the following:
(a) proof of purchase including purchase date
(b) provide the model number, serial number and part identification number (if applicable)
(c) description of the alleged defect in the product or part. You much also promptly provide us with such further information as we may reasonably request from time to time with respect your claim.
